The original of this lovely scene is from the book The Joy of Painting Flowers II. I don't have the book and I could not find a suitable picture online out of the book, so I used the beautiful version of Titia (thanks for sharing and inspiring me) as reference and I grabbed the techniques Marion Dutton from MazArt used in her pink hibiscus, which I did before this one. I prepared the canvas with gesso and orange/yellow acrylic paint. The painting was done in two sessions of about 2 hours each: one for the background and leaves, one for the flowers. Only for the background around the flowers and leaves some linseed oil was used as medium. On canvas panel of 24 x 30 cm.
Very nice

Beautiful work Jos✌️
Gorgeous leafwork, I know how difficult they are to get right.

And glad to hear my painting has been helpful for this one.
