As the title suggests this scene is coming from a watercolour painting (YT tutorial) using only the three main colours red, blue and yellow. I did it in oil (main picture on canvasboard of 30 x 24 cm) and in watercolour (second picture on Arches paper of 29,7 x 21 cm A4 format) also using the three main colors (and a bit of white in the oil version) mixing to orange, purple, grey and brown and it was an easy fun scene for beginners.
So serene and beautiful!

Oh my, this is so good. Exceptional distance centre horizon! I have the beginnings of an oil painting (a compo of my own) that I abandoned a while back, I thought I might be able to salvage and turn it into a lighthouse painting and this has inspired me to have a go.
