Fourth episode of the Joy of Painting with Nicholas Hankins season 3. This painting started with a thin layer of clear (linseed oil for me) and painting the sky with ind.yellow, crimson and red/white. It was a good excercise for painting bushes with the fanbrush and of course painting branches of an old big tree. On wallpaper of 40 x 30 cm.
I can't take my eyes off that tree. It's fantastic!
