This was such a fun painting to watch develop!! From the underpainting to the last touch of color!!

Upon closer examination, I have to concur with you Rebecca! The brushwork IS pro level in this one! Nice work JP!!
Did have a grayscale under painting, And the painting itself was probably mostly a flat filbert…. Thank you all for the kind words🙏🏻

At first glance I said out loud Woah! Looking further I can see it has choppy and soft in equal measure, I don't know if that's what you were aiming for but it turned out great. I'd be very happy to have painted this. Would you say the underpainting helped? I'm not confident with underpainting so I've been avoiding it.
