A Moonlit Christmas

lightsnow 02 Jan 2021

Painting # 78. I made this impromptu painting right around Christmas during my vacation. I wanted to paint a moonlit night sky and just let it flow, but didn't plan past that. This painting came to life as I was creating it. Many happy accidents happened during the course of making this one. I had some difficulty with the cabin, as I usually do, but this was really fun overall. 18x24.

It turned out to be great improvisation! The moon is shining beautifully in the cold starry night!

Nice I like it

Soft and beautiful.

Your sky is brilliant! And i love how you created the moonlit glow on the snow. Bob makes cabins and buildings look so easy doesn't he!? The man was truly a master.
