Painting # 82. I recently got a pack of 16x20 canvases so that I can just play around and create impromptu paintings for fun. Today was such a day. I wanted to create a painting based on the camping sites I usually go to in the summers, in the Laurentian mountains of Quebec, Canada. This was also the first time I split my painting day in two, completing half in the AM and half in the PM, rather than finishing it all in one sitting (my painting day was punctuated by walking my dog and making lunch). This was a fun, relaxed experience overall. I used this opportunity to really practice cloud making and blending with the fan brush.
