The LL Ball House

moai 11 Jun 2020

This painting is painted on watercolor paper that is cemented to another paper, then cemented to some cardboard. It is around 11 x 14 and based off of a picture taken by David Ellis. This is the LL Ball house in Muncie Indiana where Bob Ross filmed The Joy of Painting from 1984 to 1988. I added some trees to one side of the house because the windows were making it difficult. It was my first attempt at house of this scale and was challenging to get the perspective even close to looking good.

Moai, I like your paintings with structures, they are unusual from the other ones. This one is very special. Nice job!
