This panting makes me feel like I'm driving out west, in those last spectacular moments before night. I love your clouds!

I love the clouds!

WAW! Such detailed sky and soft colouring! The land really has a lot of depth in it.
This is one truly beauty, my compliments.

How did you prepare the wood? Did you use liquid clear as well?

That sky!!! There I am scrolling along checking out the new works of art and double take, I feel such strong emotion coming from this painting, the clouds, the sky - amazing. You should be extremely proud!

@Voy Kay - I prep the wood by sanding the surface, applying a coat of gesso, sanding that lightly (after it dries) and repeating two more times. I don't apply any medium to the board, I just mix it with the paint as needed.

Impressive! I have a wooden box ready and it has one coat of blak gesso already on it!
I will proceed as you wrote and give at least one more caoting.
I'm hesitant at this moment if I should use Liquid clear or not!

Amazing sky! It looks so big and open! And those colors 😍
