Just three colors in this one - indian red, sap green, and titanium white.
@Felix it's MDF with two coats of gesso. Makes it easy to wipe back paint to create light and shadows (and also erase mistakes!)
Gloomy indeed! Good job, you really achieved a "earth saturated with rain water" feel
I have just been looking at your work, you seem to have a couple of different styles going, this has a very "old masters" feel about it......great job!
@Tel thanks! I am trying to develop a tonalist style like George Inness or Bruce Crane. Still got work to do.
