This was at a Kevin Hill workshop in Rock Hill, SC. What an awesome experience to witness in person. His technique and shop were run perfectly! What really helped me was being able to see his work up close. Also, they would bring you a sample of the color mixture so you could see the color on your pallet. This was very helpful. If you get a chance it's worth the time and effort to attend his workshop. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent work. I’ve been watching some of his tutorials - he is really good but they aren’t easy. You’ve done a fabulous painting. Love the hazy mountains and earth/rocks in the foreground.
Great painting here. I like the feel that one wants to enter the scene and walk to that edge to see that vast space and mountains.
