This is another painting in my Yosemite series, or at least I call it a series since it sounds more professional than a phase lol, I based this one on a photo taken at Yosemite. The way my phone corrects the lighting looks a bit weird, but I hope it doesn’t mask too much the sort of warm sunlight look I was going for. Also I threw in a big tree for the heck of it because.. well, it’s what Bob would do! :)

Awesome painting! The rock is super! I was thinking to do similar scene but in winter from internet photo as inspiration, but never got to it. I love you idea about the front tree as the empty view what I think stopped me from my attempt.
Sunset light and the warmth you created on the rock is stunning.
Row,row,row your boat ( Star trek fans will understand!) Love this painting,love the way the light captures the top of the mountain, the sky is awesome and the water gives great depth and a sense of size. Great job 🖖
