Alone in the Night
Oil on canvas 2025
Bobby Parsons
I never stood out there with her β this came more from a dream than a memory. But I can imagine it plain as day: a cow on the prairie in the dead of winter, standing quiet under a cold moon. Snowβs got that green-blue glow, sagebrush catching just a whisper of light, and the only company is her own long shadow.
Itβs the way I figure a night out there would feel β lonely, cold, but kind of peaceful too.
beautiful! Love the highlight of the moon on the snow, casting the lonely shadows
Thanks Dirk!
Thanks Carolyn!
A beautiful scene; I love the light wash of green on the ground. Great color palette!
Really nice work and that cow sure does look lonely!
Thanks Kerri!
Thanks Sandy!
I have to say, the lighting here is just beautiful! Super well done Bob! Love this one!
Thank you. Kind of a silly subject but my goal was the sky vs moonlight on the snow.

Good morning from Germany my friend, . You have implemented the feeling of loneliness and cold well. The colors fit perfectly.ππΌπ©πͺπͺ
