I don't do too many seascapes (too many failed attempts) but i was actualy quite pleased with how this turned out, i tried to keep it simple and i think that paid dividends and i feel encouraged to do more

I love this! I can’t pinpoint why I find it so calming but I love how the color change in the sand is so perfect and looks like a wave just receded. You nailed the angles on your boat Betty and the shadowing looks fantastic. You even put in the little water/froth that forms on the sand where the boat sits. All around great painting you should be proud. You should do more!

I agree with Lilikins! I meant to come back to this and expand a little more on my first comment, but I totally spaced it! I also want to say I like the distance you created with your clouds. They look so far away. Definitely more ocean scenes should be in your future!
