The farmhouse was fun to do, perhaps the foreground tree needs some work but i am fairly pleased with the result
This is one of the better buildings I’ve seen. Trees have been my weakness so I’m still working on that myself but buildings for me have been challenging as well. This one looks very well designed. Did you use any acrylic on that building or oil? Or both?
Thanks Happy, i forgot the golden rule here you need the dark to see the light ....forgot to lay down my base colour on the tree canopy so of course it's not looking quite right.For the past 3-4 months i have only been using water mixable oils which i can recommend if you are averse to the fumes from meths (i am). Buildings require patience and perspective and a steady hand helps!....Thanks for the kind words.
