My first attempt at a space themed painting, continent not geographically accurate!....This was fun to do so therefore worth the effort.
Great space painting! Love the moon and indeed as Happyisland said looks like sun is on the left side and planet is at night. Don’t worry about accuracy. May be this planet is in another galaxy.
SUPERB attempt at astronmy painting! The pov is very well chosen and it creates quite some depth and improvisation.

This is very creative. Looks like the perspective of a spaceship orbiting the planet below. I like the stars and the moon in the background. You can see the impression of light coming from the sun that while not seen, the impression is that the left side of the moon is reflecting the light coming from the top of the painting. I like the pot marks of the moon as well. Good depth and creativity on this one. Great work!
