This is a Kevin Hill painting I tried to do. It took forever compared to the Bob Ross landscapes I’ve been doing because of little details involved and it’s something new.
I think when I have more free time in my life I will really like this process because it’s fun and relaxing to work on the details. For now I like the other way better because you can get a good result with little time investment.
This was also my driver why Bob's paintings were so appealing - speed to get final product. I mean of course it w as taking from 2.5 to 6 hours even with Bob, but even though I could not imagine I will be able to create art that quick. We all know that artist painted years sometimes.
I did couple of paintings with Kevin Hill too, it was closer to 6 hours and up to 10. I quite enjoyed change from Bob, but returned to Bob too for some time. I would encourage you to try to follow various artists on youtube. There are many awesome ones and this will expand your horizon and will bring more creativity to what you already have.
