16”x20” canvas panel. When I first started painting in 2020 I accidentally bought a bunch of canvas panels and have just now decided to practice some things on them. One of my other hobbies is beekeeping so I added one of my bees onto this.

So the bee is my favorite as well!
There is a famous painting in London gallery (I think) of quite rich but unknown woman with the fly on her white head cover. That fly looks incredibly 3D. And that painting is dated something like 16th century. Really love your idea about bee!

Sunnylady, I thought of that painting with the fly when I was painting this bee because I recently saw a documentary that mentioned it.
I love the bee! The added shadows to show him sitting right on your painting are just perfect.
