Good work ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

I am not very knowledgeable of religious topics, I thought it was Saint George who killed the dragonโ€ฆ anyway, my lack of knowledge does not affect how nice your painting is. Seems you investigating the topic of stain glass recently ? And what is a good place to find a lot of inspiration ๐Ÿ™‚?

Awesome job!

Really a beautiful piece! So much detail!

The blue color of the cloak is fabulous. Is it ultramarine? Cobalt?

Beautiful Tom!

Last question: did you use glazing?

Pietro1963 Master of Monsters

nice work..love the arc angels!

Thank you for the nice comments!

Sunnylady, Michael is the archangel who kills satan who appears as a dragon in the book of revelations. For me a few months ago a great place for inspiration was Paris and also Rome. So much beautiful art and architecture. Usually for me regular everyday life is an inspiration, but lately Iโ€™ve been into angelology and greek and norse mythology. Also stained glass art and japanese woodblock prints. Itโ€™s always changing haha.
That is french ultramarine in the cloak.

Sunnylady, I am not familiar with glazing so I donโ€™t think I use it, but I often put varnish on my paintings after they dry. Iโ€™m not sure if that is the same thing.

Thanks THolmes! You are very creative! Inspiration from all the things you mentioned helped you to create these last wonderful paintings! What archeology is exactly your interest? Dinosaurs or ancient cities?

Ahaha. I read archeology. Not ๐Ÿ˜‡

Sunnylady its funny you mentioned archeology because I have been watching alot of videos lately about archeology as related to ancient India and getting some ideas haha.

Excellent!

Great work, really superb!

Thank you Coldethel and Tom!
