Todays effort.. even with the heat.. My inspiration was Forest River (Season 27 Episode 12) This was a different technique than just using liquid white for the base. I painted the background with different colors of gesso then used liquid clear for the base. I like the effect but I need to work with the gesso ( trick 1 is to thin it considerably ) more to get a good feel for it and using it as a “cutout”. I cna see a lot of uses for this As I was painting, I was humming ” black water” from the Doobie Brothers to myself. The bright spot is not a reflection.. playing with sunlight trying to burn through mist
