I used black to outline the canvas and add some basic structure.. Then I used liquid white and liquid black to make the fog/mist. I used a new color for me, Radiant White from Gamblin.. LOVE IT.. it keeps its bright white even when mixed a bit. It took two days.. One day to lay out the majority and the second to add in a lot of the details. The major elements are a homage to various stories.
Very nice painting! I really like the limited use of some bright colouring in there, specially the flowers!
So many creepy thoughts come to mind here! The movie, "It", Slender Man, what a great fusion of all things creepy.
One of the most impressive paintings I've seen on the site today.
