Cold, it looks very cold...I love it, I'd definitely go for a midnight walk there.

Beautiful painting! Snow on the tree is great and moon shines inviting for a walk!

I watch Mazart sometimes too! Thanks for reminding me about this channel as i did not visit it for a long time.

This is hanging on my mums wall...i painted it last winter and she loved it!...Maz is a great artist but she doesn't do too many full tutorials for free....but hey business is business.
Great job...love the sense of distance

Ooooooooooh, this is excellent! Love the subtle colors on the background pines.

@tel Her patreon page is 10$ .. gives access to most of her library..that's a bargain compared to some other sites I've been poking around at.

I absolutely LOVE that sky!

great painting...i guess winter is near..well,you woudn't know it..70s hear,,

Wow that moon is gorgeous!

Thanks for posting this. I really like this painting and had never heard of MazArt so I took a shot at it but put a building in instead of the dead trees.

Lilikins reminded of something I did different on this. Everyone uses Titanium white.. but what I found is a different white called "Radiant White" from Gamblin. Its a very soft , very pure white that just shines better than TiWhite. And being soft, it works really well for items like this moon where the last thing done in the sky is a dab of white and then lightly brushed out. I also used it for the snow highlights vs the stiffer TiWhite. The key to the paint is the use of safflower oil vs linseed oil which tints the white slightly.

All kinds of good info is here: https://gamblincolors.com/getting-the-white-right-by-robert-gamblin/
