I have been painting for about 5 years. I started with acrylic, joined Acrylic University as a lifetime member, and spent about 2 years with them, which gave me the confidence to not throw all of my supplies into the St. John's River. I was frustrated, though, with acrylics due to the fast drying time. I attended an oil painting class with Elisabeth Ferber and fell in love...with oils, that is.
I am currently going for my CRI with just the final Level 3 workshop to attend in December.
I was a professional photographer for about 30 years, and now I have been a professional Chef for the past 18 years. Guess my resume reads like an 8-year-old kid saying, 'What do I want to be when I grow up?' I have also spent time as a skydiving instructor.
I plan to use my Bob Ross training, once I earn my CRI, to help other people enjoy The Joy of Painting for themselves after I retire from culinary.
