This was my first Bob Ross with black gesso. The foreground did not turn out as I intended, and in the future I will varying tree trunk width a bit more to demonstrate greater perspective.

I've done over 50 black gesso paintings up to now and can assure you it's just one great and wonderous adventure! Take on some more, you will love it eventually!!
