Fisherman's Trail

Mgiese84 24 Feb 2022

This is my last remaining woodgrain effect BR painting from JOP. This one didn't take too terribly long since the wood effect covers a good portion of the canvas. I highly recommend wiping off all the excess clear before starting. I usually do that anytime I use the clear and as a result didn't have any problems. I was quite pleased with the final result.

Thanks Brian! The wood looked very realistic I thought even before I added the grain effect. Maybe a happy accident lol

Fantastic, the path in front and the reflection on the wood!

Love this, please tell me how you get those mountains looking so good, I really struggle with snow covered mountains.

Thanks Nivek! You're question comes at a perfect time. I was just about to publish an article on that very topic. I'll post a message once it's up. I think it will be helpful to you and many others (hopefully 😀)
