Deep Forest Falls

Mgiese84 01 Mar 2022

This one I had wanted to do for a while but I kept putting it off. I think the underpainting had something to do with it. But I finally got the itch and got it done. I added just a touch of cad yellow up in the sky to get a little greenish glow. I do like Bob's trick for underwater rocks. Very neat.

Thanks Pam! Darker, darker, darker as you work towards the bottom, lol.

Another beautiful painting! Love it!

Thanks Sandy! I kind of like it too :-)

Great pop of yellow in the sky, I think it really adds to the overall tone of the painting. Very crisp and colorful!

Thanks Kaylee. I thought it needed just a slight glow. Rather than, as Bob would say, one ol' dead color, :-)

We have to put our own little touches on there to make them unique and you nailed it!

The depth in this is fantastic!

Thanks U!

That green glow gives just the indication of more trees way in the background up the river and is spot on to my eye Matt! Excellent!

Thanks Brian. I'm definitely glad I added the cad yellow in the background. Still one of my all-time favorite paintings I did of Bob's
