Funny story about this painting. I lost power at the house for two hours yesterday so everything except the sky and mountain I did with only a flashlight for my light source, lol. I liked the underwater stones in this one. I also thought the right side lacked something so I put in a little cabin.

I like the red roof on the cabin. Nice addition. Did you find that colour mixing by flashlight gave you a different result? I'm always wondering if my paintings are a little more vibrant on sunny days and duller when mixed on cloudy days.

Thanks Linzee and Pam. To answer your question Linzee the cabin colors were a little more difficult to mix with just the flashlight. I had to change the roof several times. The challenge with the flashlight you get a glare / shine coming on the canvas so it's a little harder to paint everything just the way you want.
