Roadside Barn

Finally added the hay bales and a little more detail in the foreground. I'm still not crazy about the perspective. It seems like I lost some space between the first and second rows of fencing.

Those hay bales are awesome!

Bhumble, I made an article for you to address your concern about perspective. I hope it will give you a glance into your next learning exercise of self-improvement.

I usually remove these kind of explanative articles so people do not feel offended if I keep them long as everybody learns and grows as artist, i would assume people would not want to have reminders of their learning process. So just let me know if it needs to be removed and when.

all your roadside barn paintings are amazing! The barns, haybales, roads, and fences all have a still life quality to them, if that makes sense. To me, they are the most realistic parts of the painting, you seem to have quite the knack for painting these structures. I have so many questions, did you develop your own technique for the haybales? I'm hoping to learn how to develop my skills in the same way you have. I'm also curious about that article, as I also have issues with perspective. Cheers!
