I still have yet to find a detailed and thorough guide on how to get the oval traced, cut, properly aligned and adhered to the canvas. Could you point me in the direction of a guide or tutorial? Nice work by the way!

To be honest I quit doing ovals because I couldn’t find a sticky contact paper that would adhere at the edges without using Elmer’s glue to keep the paint from bleeding under the contact paper. Just too much trouble! So I have gone to painters tape (green frog tape) and just square it off. You can see some done this way on my pages.
