I haven't done an oil painting for three months, so I thought I would try this one to get back into the swing of things. I was a little rusty in some spots. That mountain looks better than it actually is.
I think this was the first painting in ages in which I did not paint clouds.

You mean the mountain in the painting is better then the mountain in real? Very nice trees and bushes also and the reflections are wonderful.
This one looks better than BR's. You spent a good deal of time getting the banks just right. And the evergreens are so life-like. Some days the sky is clear blue just like yours. A stag just in the clearing at the center of the water's edge would be a cool addition. I'd buy it.
