Teton Winter

Ninoum 31 Oct 2022

It was a fun one to paint. I wanted to make the sky a little more threatening so I incorporated some grey in my sky/clouds, this way I could have a calming snow falling. I thought the bottom of the painting was naked, therefore I dressed it up with a wooden fence. Even though no one is currently in he cabin, it is habited due to the presence of icicles (heat escaping melting the snow into those beautiful winter sculptures). I wish I could be the one living there. It's looks like such a peaceful and charming spot to stay at.
