I decided to give a comeback on twoinchbrush after a few months of absence.
This is my version of Teton Winter. I remember some discussions I had regarding the weird canvas preparation Bob did in this episode. Now after finishing it I can say that the weird spots of black and blue acrylic are indeed visible and make a nice effect, but only in the sky area. So in my opinion that preparation can be done only in the sky area, it is absolutely not needed in the lower part.
As always I put a colored door in my cabins.
This is oils on canvas panel (I only use panels any more as they need less storage space) 24 x 20 in (60 x 50 cm)
