Sunlight in the Shadows

Ninoum 27 Nov 2022

Another forest painting! 😬

This one is easy to make. Dana Jester is our instructor in this one. He explains so well. He taught me new ways of going about things. It made it effortless.

I added some Spanish moss and a branch on the bottom left.

I like yours more than Dana’s! Super Nancy!

Awwww! ☺️ Thank you so much Brian! That made my day!

Super nice! Love the shine on the path and the hanging moss on the trees!

Lovely, interesting colour pallet

Thanks Marc! I live in Florida and we do have that hanging moss (Spanish moss) everywhere. I saw Bob putting some on one of his painting with a fan brush. So I thought this one would be a perfect candidate for it.

The shine on the path was a new technique that Dana taught us. So simple and effective. Put lots of paint on a fan brush, draw a straight line down then sway the brush side to side on that line to spread the paint to give that effect.

Thank you tel! I thought so as well. Different than the “traditional” color palette of Bob.

So pretty! All of those fluffy pink highlights make me want to reach out and touch them!

Thank you Pam! They sure do appealing to the touch!
