The pink shrubs and couple holding hands gives a different feel to painting . It was in no way meant to disrespectful to the original.

Bringing your own flavor is never a disrespect to the original tharjus. Bob always encourages us to add our own elements. He doesn’t want us to copy his paintings rather is teaching us a technique.
All that being said, your painting is really beautiful. I could tell it was “Forest Edge” when I saw it. Great job!
