The style of this painting was inspired by TIB user tholmes79's painting "Snowy Farmyard in Yaizu". I loved the color block style! This method was used to hand print wallpaper and fabric before machines (and still used by some artisans today). I imagine this being a wallpaper scene in an old home 🙂 I went with acrylics for a fast drying time which allowed me to experiment with techniques.
