Fisherman's Paradise

Ninoum 08 Jan 2023

Since orange is my favorite color, I decided to tackle this one today on a big 22“x 28”.

The most challenging part was the sky. Since it’s the focal point, it needed to be perfectly blended. It took me forever. But I am really happy with it.

I based some of my details like the little fishing boat from the book. It’s not in his video.

I enjoyed painting this one sooooo much! Very different and so pretty!

One of the best i have seen, ever 😎

Very nice and I like what you did with the water. I like the “shrimpin boat”, I can almost see Forrest & Bubba on the deck waving!

Thank you so much Dirk!!! ☺️

Thank you Brian! Too funny because I had the Forest Gump scene in my head as I was painting it! You totally felt the vibe! 😀

this is soooo nice!

ooooooo...bursting orange in the sky!great work N..with the fisher's paradise.cheers.P

Thank you Jessie! ☺️ It’s one of my fav. I also like how Bob framed the canvas with the black gesso and white border. It makes it clean and the colors pop so much more.

Thanks Pietro! 😀 That sky is stunning and that’s why I wanted to paint it bad. It took me 1 and half hour to get it right but it was so worth it.

Oh I'm so in love with this painting, The sky is superb, the little island and those left trees are awesome and the deep red in the foreground plants and those little fence posts just finish it off perfectly. I'm wanting to stay in that cabin, forever!

Thank you Niv! It would be really nice to live there indeed! 😊

many really like the texture on the roof!

Simply gorgeous!

Nice Nancy!

Thank you Mashoo! I followed more or so the book. Bob does a regular roof on his video. I wanted something more elaborate.

Awwww! Thank you Sandy!! 🥰

Thanks Matt! ☺️

Great painting Nancy, especially the sky. It is so well blended. Cheers
