I am working on completing all episode 13 paintings. This one is different from most BR paintings in that it’s done on a dry canvas. I found that I much prefer the wet on wet method.

I love the contrast of the dark night with those colder colors and the warmth inside the house coming thru the window. Very nice Brian!
Sometimes if Bob did something like that I would just go ahead and put the liquid clear on and then put the phthalo blue on.

IKR Matt? I delayed starting it because I was thinking the same thing and also the bottom could have been black gesso. Then I went ahead on the dry canvas after contemplating it for literally an hour. lol

Another beautiful piece of artwork!! You definitely captured that night feeling. Trees came out wonderful with that last hint of light for the day!
