Well done Dirk. I thought you do it like Bob and cut out some wood, LOL.
Just kidding. I see an improvement at every painting from you. Keep going!

Beautiful sky! Your mountains are delightful! In the attached picture, I see the face of an eagle. Your evergreens are great and their reflections in the water are excellent! Great job my friend! How long did it take you? On carton?! I never tried it. How does the paint behave on that?

Thanks Tom 😁

Hey Beauty and yes carton ( backside Form a Frame )5 mm Thick . 2x gesso foundation for and back side and no Problem. You can paint on it , dont usw to much Pressure its not so hard . Painting Time 2 Hours inclusive a cigarette Outside 😁

Really nice mountains and pretty sky! I agree with Nancy and I see an eagle face on the right mountain. Was that intentional? I have several paintings that I did not intend for faces to appear in things like clouds or mountains. But my husband always sees faces in the shapes LOL

Hey Pam , thank you . That was no Intention 😎sometimes i see Faces or something in my paintings . Pure coincidence . At this Mountain Eagle and Skull makes the Race until yet 😎
