Woodgrain View

Dirk1968 02 Nov 2023

After I had the prepared canvas for a few weeks and I haven't painted anything from Bob for a long time, I was thinking of starting today. I changed the colors of the wood effect and taped the Canvas with simple tape. It was a bit difficult to get opacity with the liquid white on the existing surface because the canvas was very smooth but in the end it worked. So here is my version of "Woodgrain View" as always fresh from 25 minutes ago. I hope you like it.

Canvas 24 x 30 cm (9.45 x 11.80 inch)2 x black Gesso, grinded 240/400, liquid clear, liquid white, Time 3 Hours and 45 minutes to prepaire the woodgrain effect .
I have uploaded the prepared wood effect as a second picture below. For all those who are interested

Nice wood grain and despite that, the crispness of the mountain and trees really makes for a nice work. Great job.
