After the disaster of the last painting I'm quite happy with this guy. I think I started to finally figure out leaves/grass. The red tree on bottom right was the last item I added on this painting and I think I was just getting the right pressure. Hopefully I remember that and do it on the next one! Still have to figure out how to make the snow break on the mountains. I can't get my angles right ether.

I do agree that red bush is spot on. For me mountains were the most difficult subject matter to paint. It took me quite a few before I got the hang of it. Definitely need to use less pressure when highlighting. Might be a touch too much liquid white on the canvas too. Hard to tell via a photo.
