I had no idea that Bob showed a brown version of this painting at the end of the episode, but that was my first thought when I thought about doing a monochrome painting. This is on a 8x10 canvas, so I didn't fancy my chances of getting a cabin into this tiny canvas. But doing the evergreens with knife was really fun, and not something I would have thought to try.
