Babbling Brook

A bit of a departure from Bob‘s original but overall I’m fairly pleased with it. 16 x 20 oil on stretched canvas.

Nice Version , I painted it twice. Also a little different but closer to the original. Its one of my favorites. Allover Good work 👍🏼

This is a superb work. This background light coming from behind the trees looks amazing and gives the painting a special touch. Very good!

Thanks! I appreciate the affirmation.

Brian, this is absolutely incredibly gorgeous!!! I am in love with this masterpiece! 🥰 Would you be ok if I try to paint it your way? I totally understand if you don’t. Super job!!!

That’s totally fine. I’m sure yours will turn out much better. You are really good at these deep forest scenes. Looking forward to seeing it. 😊

Thank you so much for giving me permission! I will be def dedicating it to you! 😀

so beautiful, the light is so captivating.

Well thanks, Jeff. It just seems to make more sense that you'd see more greenish light in a forest than gold. That's why I used sap green instead of yellow ochre like Bob did in his video. Still used the sap green/crimson mix for the edges, just mixed to the green side rather than red.

Absolutely beautiful Brian!

Thanks so much, Brian. I’m so glad you like it!

Such a beautiful job! Love that sun glowing through the trees.

Thank you so much! That's exactly what I was going for. I'm glad it reads.
