I decided not to paint the background hills in that purple ish color Bob had. I went for browns instead. I like my painting tho I think the land is too dark. I will work on some highlights later on after work.
Once again… the darn clouds. I know how to fix them this time to make them great. I’ll work on them tonight as well.

Fixed my clouds!!! ☁️☁️☁️. I added few highlights but I don’t think the picture renders them well. But I am happy with my sky! 🎉😀 I added some little daisies at the bottom of my big off canvas tree! 🌼🌼

Bonjour Dirk! Thank you! I made my new clouds with a filbert brush. It worked beautifully!
I Never did it with a filbert but now i will try it . Mostly i did it with the Fanbrush or with the corner of a small flat brush . With my small formats, I often have the problem that the clouds get to jagged with the fanbrush
Well done Nancy. I really like the foreground and the dead tree in front and the fixed version really was worth it. Regarding the background hills I would like to give you a tip. If you have a blue sky, it is always good to add some blue to them, it shows more distance.
But well done overall. Sorry if I should have missed some of your paintings, I have been a bit under pressure due to the job recently.

You are an inspiration. The grasses you painted along with the flowers are superb. Foreground tree looks amazing and most importantly those crisscrossing branches did not blend together!
