Winter Hideaway

TonyM 21 Jan 2023

1/20/23: Winter Hideaway - s8e7

I wanted to do a winter painting in a red frame so this is what I chose. I probably have way too much color in the foliage for winter so I am calling this mid fall with an early snow :) I may go back and add some snow to the tree branches. I am just starting to feel more comfortable painting structures (this is my 10th ever) and I am pleased with this one. This was a fun one to paint with relatively few issues incurred.

16x20 canvas. Painting #75 in my awesomely fun Bob Ross experience. (fun fact: 28 of these are original compositions, rest are mainly Bob Ross paintings). Never created a painting in my life before Feb 1, 2022. I am really enjoying the journey.

Really good Tony, looks great as it is but i would be tempted to put snow on the trees and bushes, with so much snow on the ground

Thanks Tel - debating that as we speak.

Super Tony ! Love cabin and footyhills!

I think you did a fantastic job. The soft pastel colors in the sky are very nice. Also the building is done very good.

This is really pretty Tony. It’s only your 10th painting ever?!!!! Super impressive!

I agree with Terry, a little of snow on the main tree branches would totally complete your painting.
