Did this one for a second time. Good one for practicing mountains which are still a struggle. Better than my first though. 18x24.

excellent job on the mountains, the color choice is superb for the highlight/shadow. I would never have guessed it was still a struggle! I wish I was making mountains like these :D

Thanks all! That’s nice to hear. I mean they certainly feel like a struggle when I’m painting them and agonizing over them. I did let the initial dark layer sit for a day on the right side before applying the top detail. I think that bit of drying helped with getting that paint to break. On the left the paint got kind of gloopy which I tried to fix with a filbert, and then the grass covered up a lot!
