This completes season 10 for me. I will have to go back and touch it up where the liquid white bled under the tape when it dries. A fun painting that is not too difficult. 16x20

Guten Morgen Brian, 🇩🇪ist a very nice painting Good work . I saw the Problem with the tape . I dont know what kind of Tape you use but there are from 3M a Kind of Pin. Stripe Tape only 3/5 mm really small and it makes super Sharp Edges . I use it sometimes for the Seascape Horizontline

Piece of advice concerning the tape: After you stuck on the tape you can "seal the edges" with acrylic paint that matches the color of your outer background. Even though that paint might bleed through as well, it will not be as visible since it has the same or at least a similar enough color as your background. Best case it's not visible at all, worst case it's visible when you look closer. Works very well in my experience at least!
Thanks Dirk,Tom and Marc! I use Frog tape which adheres very well to the canvas or gessoed canvases usually but on this one I did the wood grain effect with liquid clear over the entire canvas and let it dry. Then used the tape on top of that so I learned something not to try! Lol. Thanks again for y’all’s support and advice!
