I used a recycled canvas here from an earlier painting it was lotsa fun! 18x24

Did you sand your canvas 1st? Did you apply Gesso on the old one or did you work with what was already on the canvas?
Thanks N! Yes I did sand it first but the paint from the previous painting was very thick in some areas and I gave up and decided to hide the bumpiness in the bushes and trees of the new painting. Yes I did use black gesso on the entire canvas as well as liquid clear.
