Snow Birch

Ninoum 25 Jul 2023

I was way due for this one. Bob kept telling us about adding things to this painting… so I did! I toned down the transparent colors going over the birch trees. It looked too cartoonish for me. I added some mist, cabin (totally inspired from Tom’s Ebony Sunset) and little bushes here and there. Fun and very easy to do!

Great job Nancy. Your buildings are just amazing now.

Really amazing how you got the reflection for the cabin, superb work!

Another masterpiece! Love your variations and your cabin is awesome!

Grazie P! That glassy water is the reason I was always attracted to this compo.

Awww! Thank you Tomi my friend. I love painting buildings so much! 🏠

Thank you bunches Jim! The reflection of that cabin was a good challenge.

Thank you so much Sandy. 😊

This is not my favorite episode (similar as ebony sunset). But the house gives it a lot of life and due to this it looks 100% better. Glad I could give you some inspiration.

Great work on the reflection. Love it.

I love your version! Like Bob used to say, "when you are doing yours at home you can take your time and add all of the detail that you want, they only give me 26 minutes", "Mean old producer".

I never was attracted to that episode either Tom. But when I saw your cabin, it gave me the motivation and inspiration to improve that composition. Thanks a bunch for all the inspiration you bring in my painting journey! 😊

Thank you Daddio! Those reflections are a great learning opportunity!

I really appreciate B! 😊 You couldn’t have quoted him better! I took upon his advice as you can see. The compo was too… blah! Lol! A little TLC and Voilà!
