Super nice scene from Bob! Not a lot of people painted it. I looooooove those glows in the sky. They are some of my fav to paint.

For the colors of the barn, I used VDB for the base color. For the “highlights”, I used white, dark sienna and ochre. I also used a little black under the eaves.

Awesome Nancy. Love the added details. The brown on the barn floor gives added depth to the barn. Hay rolls are great. The barn is the star of this show.

A question: which color combination do you use for the highlights on the barns you paint? Is it ochre, white and brown like burnt umber?
