This was my second attempt at this one (the first one I had issues with the contact paper not sticking). Sadly I had many of the same issues on this one (I think it's because the contact paper is rolled up so I'm going to try and lay it out a few days before with books on it). The trees coming out of the panting here are to cover up that mistake (you can see some of the gesso leaked in other areas, but it was worse on the left). It's a really fun painting (I love seascapes) so I expect I'll revisit this one again soon. :D
