Cool idea and awesome seascape!

Thats a mighty cool idea! Still got the 3 pieces lying around? Sure woud be fun to hang that painting and the 3 pieces somewhere around it or to find somewhere in the house/apartment! 😄

How did you do the border Miss Nancy? Just curious and again a wonderful painting!

Nice seascape and awesum pattern for the contact paper, a lot of work to cut out I think or was it preshaped?

Thank you very much B! Here’s what I did. 1) got a jigsaw puzzle template online, 2) sized it & also sized the picture of ebb tide to my canvas (16”x20”), 3) juxtaposed them, 4) printed the image, 5) made a cutout & drew it on my contact paper. Them I cut it out so I could put it on my canvas.

The reason why I printed Bob’s painting, was to know where I would put the 3 missing pieces. I didn’t want to put them on an important part of the painting like the wave or the sun.

Thank you very much Marc!! I’ll def find a nice little spot for this one! I think of of my dogs (I have 4 little ones) chewed/ate those pieces! lol! I was thinking to juxtapose at least 1 piece next the the spot it belong and paint the section that would be on that piece. It got very technical and I just wanted to start painting.

Thx Jos! 😊 You nailed it… it took me almost 2 hours just to get my contact paper on the canvas. The prep and the cutting part were very lengthy! But it was worth it. I love doing create so I enjoyed that part too!
